How to edit objective questions

For: admins and question authors

Steps

  1. Go to Question Bank > Objective Questions.
  2. Pick a Subject (and optionally Topic / Sub Topic) in the filter bar to load the questions, or search by question text or ID. Use the All / Active / Deactive tabs to narrow the list.
  3. Click the question text to view it, or click the Edit icon on the row. From the view panel you can also click Edit question.
  4. The Update Objective Question form opens with the same three tabs as when adding: Create Objective, Advanced Parameters and Answer Options. See How to add objective questions for each field.
  5. Make your changes and click Save.

Questions already used in an exam

  • Subject, Topic, Question Type and Difficulty Level are read-only.
  • Marks are read-only unless your institute has editing of marks for questions in exams enabled. When enabled, the new marks apply to new exams only.
  • If you change the correct answer after candidates have taken the exam, run Regenerate Result so scores are recalculated.
