How to add objective questions
For: admins and question authors
Prerequisites
- The Subject and Topic exist (Question Bank > Subject / Topic).
Steps
- Go to Question Bank > Objective Questions and click New.
- Fill the three tabs (fields marked * are required), then click Save.
Tab 1 — Create Objective
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| Subject, Topic | Required. |
| Question Type | For example single choice, multi-select, true/false or Fill in the Blank. |
| Difficulty Level | Required. |
| Additional Question Format | Text/Image based (image up to 3 MB, png/jpg/jpeg) or Audio/Video based (mp3 or mp4, up to 10 MB). |
| Text Question | The question text (rich-text editor). The image button inserts an image at the cursor — see below. |
Insert an image from a link
- In the question editor, click the image button (Insert image from link or upload at cursor position).
- Choose From URL and paste a direct image link (for example
https://example.com/image.jpg), or choose Upload File (JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP, max 3 MB). - Optionally add a caption and pick the image size (Small 25%, Medium 50%, Large 75%, Full 100%).
- Insert. Candidates see the image exactly as it appears in the editor.
Tab 2 — Advanced Parameters
- Include questions with paragraph and Grouping — give questions based on the same passage the same grouping number.
- Document — attach a PDF (less than 5 MB).
- Enter question in multiple language — add secondary / third language question text and images.
- Model Answer and Model Answer Image — optional explanation.
Tab 3 — Answer Options
- Marks — question marks. Decimal marks (for example 4.12) can be used where your institute has decimal marks enabled; not for multi-select questions or Excel import.
- Weightage of each answer option — Yes lets you give marks to each option instead of a single correct choice.
- Correct choice and Option 1… — enter at least two options; each option can have text or an image. Click Add more options to show more — up to 10 options where your institute has this enabled.
Other ways to add questions
