For: institute admins, managers and all admin-panel users
What changed
A redesigned admin interface went live for all admins on 8 September 2026. Your data, exams, schedules and results are unchanged. What changed is the layout: the side menu is grouped into sections, less-used areas moved to a footer rail, long forms are split into tabs, and every page has a guided Walkthrough.
If you still see the old interface after signing in, press Ctrl+F5 (hard refresh) to load the latest version.

Filter menu
- Click the Filter menu box at the top of the sidebar.
- Type part of a page name, for example time to find Add Time.
- Click the result. Click the × (Clear filter) to show the full menu again.
Footer rail
Organisation and Communication are pinned to the bottom of the sidebar:
- Communication: Send E-mail, E-mail Records, Notification Scheduler. See Notification Scheduler.
- Organisation: User Profile, Admin User Logs, Candidate Logs, Organization Profile. See Candidate logs and admin user logs.
How pages work now
- Breadcrumbs and command bar: every page shows where you are, plus a bar with search, filters and the main button (for example New). Extra options sit under Actions.
- Dialogs: add and edit forms open in a dialog. Required fields are marked.
- Status tabs: lists such as subjects, topics, questions, exams, candidates and users show All / Active / Deactive tabs with counts, and a search box.
- Tabs on long forms:
- Objective question: Create Objective / Advanced Parameters / Answer Options.
- Subjective question: Create Subjective / Advanced Parameters.
- Advanced configuration of an exam: Basic / Proctoring / Advanced / Section tabs. Every option has a hint (i) icon.
- Quota display: AI Question Generator and Sphere show Total / Used / Available quota and a status (Yet To Start → Processed).
- Tooltips: hover over a button or icon to see what it does.
Walkthrough
The Walkthrough button (play icon) near the page title replaces the old help icon. Click it to start a step-by-step tour of the page you are on. Where available, Help opens the matching help article.
Light, dark or match device
Click the appearance icon in the top header to cycle between Light, Dark and System (match your device setting). The choice is remembered in your browser. The admin panel starts in Light by default.
Dashboard setup checklist
The dashboard shows a setup checklist that walks new institutes through the first tasks: building the question bank, creating an exam, scheduling it and adding candidates. See Simple steps to onboard Eklavvya.
Signing in
The sign-in page asks for your role (Login as), username, password and a CAPTCHA code. If two-factor authentication is set up for your account, you then enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app. Sessions time out after 15 minutes of inactivity. See Cannot log in to the admin panel and Two-factor authentication.
Troubleshooting
I still see the old screens.
Press Ctrl+F5. If that does not help, clear the browser cache for the admin site and sign in again.
A menu item I used before is missing.
Type its name in Filter menu. Organisation and Communication pages are in the footer rail. Some sections appear only for certain roles or for institutes where the module is enabled. Contact [email protected] if you need a module enabled.
I need a live demo of the new interface.
Schedule a meeting with the Eklavvya team.
