Simple steps to onboard Eklavvya

For: new institute admins

Watch this 2-minute demo to get started. The video shows the earlier interface; the steps are the same.

First sign-in

  1. Activate your account from the activation email.
  2. Sign in: choose your role in Login as, enter username, password and the CAPTCHA code.
  3. Set up two-factor authentication. It is mandatory for every admin user: Organisation → Organization Profile → Two-Factor Authentication, scan the QR code with an authenticator app and verify with the 6-digit code. See Two-factor authentication.
  4. Create a separate user for each team member (Organisation → User Profile → New). Do not share logins.

The admin panel was redesigned in September 2026. The Dashboard shows a setup checklist, and each page has a Walkthrough button. See Finding your way in the new admin interface.

The four steps to your first exam

  1. Build the question bank. Create subjects and topics, then add questions or import them: Question Bank → Import Data (Excel, or PDF/Word/Excel with Import Questions). The question bank is stored securely. See Import questions from PDF, Word or Excel.
  2. Define the exam pattern. Exam Management → Exam Creation: objective and/or subjective questions with a marking scheme, proctoring and advanced options. See How to create and manage exams.
  3. Create one or more schedules. Exam Management → Exam Scheduler → New: set the time window (up to 30 days). See Exam schedule rules.
  4. Add candidates and assign the exam. Create batches and candidates under Candidates, then assign them in Candidates → Assign To Exam and email them. See Assign a schedule to batches.
