How to define a proctor for live monitoring

For: institute admins

Step 1: Create a proctor user

  1. Open Organisation (footer rail at the bottom of the sidebar) → User Profile.
  2. Add a user with the role Proctor. Create one user per person, because logins must not be shared.

Step 2: Assign the proctor to an exam schedule

  1. Go to Proctor → Assign To Proctor.
  2. Select the exam and schedule, then select the candidates for this proctor. Page sizes include 20 and 30 rows.
  3. Assign them to the proctor.

Step 3: Proctor receives credentials

The proctor gets an email with login credentials and the live monitoring link. After signing in, they land on the Proctor Dashboard. See Proctor dashboard guide (Proctoring 2.0) for how to monitor, chat, broadcast and approve candidates.
