Can I host the Eklavvya application on my own server?
Short answer: No — Eklavvya is delivered as a managed SaaS on Eklavvya's infrastructure (AWS & Azure data centres in India, US, and EU).
Why SaaS-only
- Eklavvya rolls out new AI evaluation models, security patches, and proctoring updates continuously. Self-hosted copies cannot keep pace.
- The platform integrates with shared infrastructure — AI inference clusters, video storage, anti-cheating signal networks — that don't run inside a customer environment.
- Compliance (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, data residency) is maintained centrally; self-hosting breaks that perimeter.
Options for enterprises with strict data-residency requirements
- Dedicated cloud tenant — Eklavvya can deploy a single-tenant instance in a specified region (India / US / EU / Singapore). Your data stays in that region.
- Private VPC peering — available for enterprise accounts; your network connects to Eklavvya's infrastructure over a private peered link instead of the public internet.
- On-premise scanning + cloud OSM — physical answer sheets are scanned inside your campus, then encrypted and uploaded to Eklavvya OSM. Original PDFs can also be retained on your storage.
Integration without re-hosting
If the goal is to use Eklavvya from inside your own portal / LMS / ERP without sending users away, you don't need to self-host. Use SSO, the REST API, or the Proctoring API embed. See how to integrate with your ERP / LMS / CRM.
